The Animal Translation Project
On 27 June 2010 BoSs took part in “Chutney Preserves 4: The Animal Farm”, curated by Sarah Sparkes on Camberwell Green to mark the end of Camberwell Arts Week. In a furry box in a tent we had a tiny screen, which was occupied by two dancing fauns who had escaped from Pliny’s Natural History and facilitated communication of farm animals in eight BoSs countries: England, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain. So if you’re planning to take your dog to the Mediterranean this summer get him infront of the screen for a crash course. If you don’t have a dog you might still want to watch and hear the amazing Greek frog, the mournful Romanian cow, or the serious Italian cat.
